We have the pleasure to invite you to “SAMBIT”-1st State Disaster Risk Reduction Congress, from 22-24 April, 2010 at Salt Lake Stadium (Yuba Bharati Kriangan), Kolkata. West Bengal, India, organized by State Inter Agency Group (IAG)-West Bengal partners and members in collaboration with Department of Disaster Management, Government of West Bengal. To mark this great occasion a success, SAFE CITIZEN – one of the technical partners in the core program team of SAMBIT, requests for your participation. |

The congress aims to create a widespread platform for integrating disaster risk reduction (DRR) in mainstream development for participants and stakeholders, and common learning, understand, challenges and best practice approach while implementing DRR with other practitioners. We also propose to advocate and demonstrate effective initiatives, exchange ideas, experiences and document the lessons learned and good practices. |
